December 28, 2020 This is it! I'm leaving! After 5 transfer here in Houston I'm leaving. I'll be whitewashing into Richmond! I'll be serving with Hermana Lister! None of yall know her but I do! We served together in the MTC! We both went to chile but different missions and we both got reassigned to the same mission! This is going to be so much fun! So dont send anything else to my Houston address. Haha I'll miss Houston so much! I have loved serving here but the lord needs me in Richmond now! Merry Christmas from Houston! This week we had a very warm and very green Christmas. We did a lot to spread the good message of Jesus Christ. We learned Noche de Luz (silent night) for fun but then we ended up singing it to basically all of our members and our investigators and it brought such a sweet spirit to our lessons! December 21, 2020 Wow.... this week was hard but it be like that sometimes 😅 So we had some awesome lessons with our friends! Maria Fernandez: so we have been teaching her for a while now and she wants to be baptized! January 23rd! We are helping her gain a testimony of the gospel and we are so excited to be here along the journey. Maria Escobedo: yes so we have like 4 friends all named maria so it gets veeerrryyy confusing sometimes. We gave her a Book of mormon and read it a ton with her this week! It was fun to read it and explain everything. Hna Christensen and I gave talks in church! So I talk about Jesus Christ and she talked about the Sacrament! So after church we get called to go to the relief society room but for some reason they wont let us in. December 14, 2020 Christmas conference! We had Christmas zone conference this week. It was a blast! We ate lots of Texan bbq and sang a lot of christmas songs! We talked a lot about putting Christ back into christmas and what we can do to be more like him and to serve. So on Wednesday we went to an apartment complex to pick up food from a member and oh boy did we have an adventure. So we knock on her door apt 115! well a guy answers and we are like hi! We are looking for rosa. Well he is like I'm not rosa *no duh* so we told him that she lives in apt 115 and he goes there are four apartments labeled 115! There are what? So we make the trek to the next apartment 115 and no answer, so we go to the next apt 115 and the door creaks open and we cant see inside but we hear someone go "what do you want!" December 7, 2020 Merry Christmas! Its December! Which means I can play christmas music without being judged!! I am definitely that person that plays christmas music before thanksgiving. I would love to see everyone's Christmas cards! Hna Christensen and I are seeing if we can cover our fridge in christmas cards 😂😂 so far we have a couple christmas wedding announcements from past comps 🤣🤣 This week we did a book drive at the Astros Stadium!! It was lit! We packaged tons of books to give away and it was so much fun! Afterwards they gave us tons of Astro merch! Catch me rooting for the Astros now. Also I left my water bottle at the service so now I just drink water from a cup... like that's not weird but we dont have ice and our water isn't cold so it's just luke warm water from a cup....
