August 31, 2020 Well this week was a long one. Monday we went thrifting and I found a dope NASA shirt, that's it, that's my week.... jk I'll write more Hna Eagar and I bought a stuffed animal duck named Alfred and he has become our district mascot. :) We had a lot of meeting at the beginning of the week because hurricane Laura was coming. We baught extra food and water and that was about all the prep we did. When laura did hit, nothing happened. It completely missed us. We keep praying for Louisiana. That was a terrible hurricane so pray for them and help in anyway you can! We had a game night! We had a game night with our neighbors! They are from India so it was fun to learn a little more about their culture! They taught us how to play India Poker. Um.... I won.... I dont know what that means exactly. We didnt bet money or anything like that but if we did I would be rich. I completely destroyed them. Indian poker is not poker with chips and stuff. It's weird...

August 24,2020 Transfers! Nothing. I'm still in houston training hna eagar This week was sister Allen's birthday! She is obsessed with Kermit the Frog so we made her a kermit pinata and she died when she saw it. She didnt want to break it open for the candy so she cut a little hole in the side. This week our car broke again.... so we went to the car shop and dropped it off and then we biked home and then 5 hours later we biked back to get our car. Miracle! Hna Eagar wanted to print off photos of her family but the photo machine wasn't working at cvs so we went to another cvs and it happened to be just us and the cvs worker and the worker comes up to us and starts talking with us and then he said that us being there was a sign because he has been looking for god in his life. August 17, 2020 First off, I don't have covid! I was just fat sick :) I've gotten over the fevers, sore throat and ear aches but I've still got migraines that make it kinda hard to work. I'm still trying my best to be positive and look for the good times ahead. Even though I was sick, I went to the Zoo. Sister Allen's birthday is coming up so we all went to the Zoo to celebrate! There was no one there. It was a ghost town so it made the zoo very fun because we practically had the whole zoo to ourselves. My favorite part was the snakes. They had these huge 11 foot long snakes in this huge building. I enjoyed it alot. We met a girl named Paola. She is amazing! We started teaching her this week and we've basically called her everyday this week and taught her. She loves the church and the gospel and we are hoping that she will accept our invitation to be baptized! So it wasn't the actuall Black Eyed Peas like the band. We didn't listen to boom boo...

August 10, 2020 I havent done much this week. I've been pretty sick and I'm sick of being sick. Not sure what I have but I've been in and out of a couple fevers, constant headaches, achy and fatigued, sore throat and my hearing is going away. I've been in bed pretty much the entire week and I'm down and out. I'm tapping out. Even being sick I tried to do some missionary work. We gave out a couple Books of Mormon, we had a couple lessons with members and that's about it. I really havent been able to move much. I'm pretty sick. I may be dying and that's ok. God has his timing and I know that I will get better. Maybe I'm supposed to learn something from this sickness. Idk, but the Lord puts trials in our lives to bless us and to help us grow. Our purpose here on the earth is to experience pain and sorrow but also joy and happiness. Right now it might be the first two things but joy and happiness are probably coming soon. August 3, 2020 This week was zone conference! We missed half of it and here's why. We were in zone conference via zoom and someone bangs on our door so we go and it's a bunch of big dudes saying our pipes are broken and that they need to come in and have a look and around and I'm like hahahah nooooo. Let me call the office to make sure that this is true first. So I did and it was true. Our neighbors pipes had burst and the pipes are connected to ours so they had to cut holes in our ceilings to get to the pipes. so I let them in and they went to our closet and starting hacking at the ceiling. We aren't allowed to be in the apartment with men so we left and went to the other Hermanas apartment in our complex. But that point we had kinda missed a lot and we were really confused. Flash forward to the next day, we biked to service at the garden center and it was amazing! We rode through forests and I had a blast. After service we biked home and as we were bringing the...
