The Joys of Life

September 28, 2020 Wow a lot has happened this week! On Tuesday and Wednesday we had Tropical storm Beta hit us. As the lord says "If ye are prepared ye shall not fear!" We were ready! Extra food and water. We didn't need to use any of it but we were prepared so we didnt worry! This week we focused a lot on following the prompting of the Holy Ghost. We got to have a devotional from Meg Johnson. She talked about how she follows the Holy Ghost and never delays a prompting no matter how weird or embarrassing it is. She said, I would rather be embarrassed than wrong and miss my chance. You never know what impact your actions have. We were driving down the road and I look over to see a guy in his car looking really sad and stressed and I remembered Megs promise to herself that she would rather be embarrassed than wrong and I felt like I needed to say hello so I rolled down my window and waved hello. He was about to roll down his window and than the light turned green s...

September 21, 2020 :) pigs feet...... 🤢🤮 so a lady we are teaching called us up and told us she had some food for us! Free food! So we drove over and picked it up. We ate it even though the meat was disgusting. The beans and rice tho *chefs kiss* delicious. We made the mistake of asking what kind of meat it was. She's like Pigs Hooves! They are fresh! Cleaned em and cooked em this morning! I was like ?????? Wut?????? Turns out we had eaten pigs feet. Hna Eagar and I were dying laughing. It was a greeeaaatttt time. Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Hna Eagar went through the temple that day so I was on exchanges with some other sister missionaries. Hna Eagar went through with her family! How trunkiieee. We found someone new this week! So Paola came to church this sunday and she brought a friend! His name is Nelson! He has such a desire to learn and change his life! It's going so well! Well sorry this letter is short. Not much happened this week besides those so here...

One more week

September 14, 2020 This week was fun! Lots of service and teaching! We taught Paola a lot this week. She loves the gospel. I love watching her testimony grow! She has such a love for the book of mormon. Weve been teaching her mom too! She has so many questions so it's been taking some time to answer all of them. This week at the herman park gardens we laid down barrels and barrels of pine needles to make everything look nice. I am soooo grateful for modern medicine. I would've been dying from all the dust and dirt flying around. At the japanese gardens I was cleaning the ponds and this duck was giving me sass and I was like wut? Huh? You wanna fight!?? And then it stands up and it was on top of 15 eggs!! I was like sorry ma'am I will leave you only. It didnt attack at all but it was still super funny. We did service for a charity called house of charity! We had a school drive for underprivileged kids. Hna Eagar and I were in charge of handing out school books for...

September 7, 2020 SIT DOWN ITS STORY TIME NOW. Grab a snack or something sorry in advance this is long but worth it Now that everyones ready let's begin. Its starts off at the japanese gardens that we volunteer at and help with gardening. When we get there we were the only volunteers to show up. Normally there are 8 or 9 of us. Dianna and Barbara are the main people that run the japanese gardens They had us organizing the tools sheds and gardening supplies. We were supposed to move piles of wood into some barrels to make some more room and make it looked nice. Dianna warned us that there might be cockroaches or ants in the wood so kick the wood first just to be safe. Pile 1. Nothing. We kicked it and nothing so we easily moved them and cleaned up. Pile 2. We kicked it and a couple cockroaches came out and hundreds of ants came put so we got Dianna and she put some ant killer everywhere. We left pile 2 alone for a bit Pile 3. Pile 3 was in a barrel already but we needed...
