HOME!!!
March 30, 2020
Well...... I’m home! After an hour flight to Santiago, staying the night in a hotel, then a 12 hour flight to Utah, I finally made it home.
The Flight was the longest flight in the world! I was dying the entire time. I sat next to this cool Canadian missionary. We showed pictures and told stories from our missions. She served in Paraguay. We both have about 5 months in our missions so we both think we will get reassigned.
In the Airport it was a mad house. I have never seen so many missionaries in one place. It was worse than the CCM (MTC). I was lucky to be one of the first missionaries through customs and one of the first missionaries to get all of their bags.
It was hard to say goodbye to everyone. I’m so sad that I had to say goodbye. I got a bunch of their emails and I have already been emailing them. I kid you not when I say that I ran to my mom and dad. It was amazing to hug them again.
I’m still a little jet lagged, Chile is about a 4ish hour difference. It’s not that bad but I get really tired earlier in the day.
The hardest part is trying to be a missionary at home. I still do language study, and read my scriptures. I wear my nametag still. It feels weird not to have it on.
