Dance like no one is watching
January 18, 2021
Good time of day to anyone reading this!
We went to drop off a book of Mormon and when we called up to the house there was a big party going on and it was blasting music. No one could here us knocking or ringing the doorbell so we had a dance party while waiting for someone to hear us. Eventually someone heard us and we dropped off a book of Mormon. :)
We went to sonic and they also blasted music while we ordered food so we had another dance party. You can never dance too much.
So we went to a park to talk to people and I saw this lady who was dancing to music by herself so we walk up to her and ask her what song she is listening to and she's like I speak Spanish and we are like DOPE US TOO! so she unplugged her headphones and started playing salsa music and she proceeds to teach us HOW TO SALSA DANCE! it was probably the best 30 minutes of my life. We set up a time to meet with her again and read the bible! Wow something good can come out of my cringe dance moves. This week was just one dance party after another.
We got some free donuts and went to a small pond to eat them :)
Had a lot of lessons this week. We got in touch with all of our people. There is Gia who is really interested in learning more and we have a lesson with her later this week. Justin who is pretty shy but opening up. Oh we got a call from some sisters in Fresno California and they sent us a referral for a guy named Luis and he is Golden! He has so many questions about where we came from and prophets and is just dying to know more. It's been so much fun to teach them! We have Ashlyn who is the cutest kid and cant wait to be baptized but we still have to teach something's first. We have tons more and I have no idea where to start. This area really is turning around and I love that I get to see it! It's awesome being here in Sugarland. I'm enjoying this area a lot. Sadly there just isn't anything around to do on p days
The elders had three flat bike tires this week so we made them some snickerdoodles to cheer them up.
We had zone conference this week. We talked a lot about desire and what it means. To me it means when you have something that you really love, you want other to have it too because if it brings you so much joy, it could bring others just as much joy. That's how I feel with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that I get to share it everyday! It brings me so much joy and I can’t wait to help all those around feel the love of Christ.
Well that was my week. Nothing too eventful. I hope you all are doing well!

2. Finally we got a pic of our district. We only have us and another set of elders so we can’t do district council or get together at all. Its sooooo depressing
