Burgundy Ties and Weddings

March 29, 2021
Hola!
This week was a fast one! Time is really flying by! Hna Ralphs (my real companion) doesn't have covid but she is still really sick so I've been with Hna Barton (a temporary but still awesome companion) for the entire week.
Hna Barton and I actually have a lot in common. We both swim! She's from Herriman and competed many times against Skyridge in swim meets so we probably swam against each other! what! thats crazy.
This week we officially started volunteering at a horse ranch. We will go and take care of the horses and walk them around. No worries, we aren't riding the horses. They are very particular about cellphones and they don't like to have them out so I don't actually have any photos of the horse place so you will just have to trust me that it is awesome.
This Week the Pecan Grove ward elders had a wedding for some friends of theirs. They are a bike area so when they were asked to go get ties to go with the wedding colors, they asked us to go get ties for them. We went on a very long adventure looking for Burgundy Ties. Finally after an hour and a half of talking to people and looking for a single store that even sold ties, we found some ties! It was a fun adventure.
So on Friday, the wedding couple needed more help for their wedding and they asked us to help out! It was awesome! I had a blast helping out at the wedding. It was a small wedding and I was asked to hold the camera for everyone who was on the zoom call.
On Sunday we were leaving for church and it turns out a moving truck was parked right behind our car and had blocked us in! We couldn't find anyone to move the truck so we ended up biking to church. Normally that wouldn't have been a big problem but it was pouring rain outside. So we biked 10 minutes to church in the pouring rain. When we walked into church (barely on time) I was soaking wet and I was getting everything wet. It was definitely an adventure.
With Easter and General Conference right around the corner, I want to invite everyone to watch it! I know that if you have any doubts or questions in your life, they will be answered in General Conference. I am so grateful for a living prophet who guides us today.
Love you all!
See you soon.
