Happy Birthday gone wrong

March 15, 2021
Good Morning Y'all! I hope you are doing well.
Here are some of the highlights from my week!
We went to a Mexican Restaurant called Las Mananitas. Y'all these were the best fajitas I have ever had. We went to another Mexican Restaurant later on in the week called Pablos and a member paid for our food! FREE TACOS! Then later on during the week again I went to a Taco Truck and got some of the best Chicken Tacos. Overall it was a good week for Mexican food.
On Friday I went on exchanges with Hermana Grimes! Since being in an English area, I have missed speaking Spanish so much. We went to a lesson at our friend Ani's house. Turns out it was her daughter Emily's Birthday that day! So after the lesson we sang happy birthday and had some cake! Well, while we were singing Happy Birthday, Emily turned her head and HER HAIR WENT INTO THE CANDLES. so because of that, HER HAIR CAUGHT ON FIRE!!! Well, I was the ONLY one that saw her hair on so I ran over sooo fast and put the fire out! That's right, I put out a hair fire. No one recognized that her hair was on fire until I was already over there smacking Emily's hair. The best part of this entire thing was that WE GOT IT ON VIDEO!!! We happened to be filming us singing Happy Birthday so if you want the video I've got it.
We have a new friend that we are teaching! His name is Christian. His wife is a less-active member and he has so many questions about the church. He has so much faith in Christ and I can't wait to teach him more!
I realized that I haven't talked about anyone I am teaching or talked about my areas at all. I am currently serving over two wards, The Jones Creek ward and the Grand Mission ward. We have two kids in the Jones Creek ward preparing for baptism! Their baptism is on April 10th! Their names are Princess and Princeton. We are so excited to help them make that important step in their lives.
We have a couple other people that we are teaching and the work is going forth. I love that I am here serving and I can't wait to finish out strong! In case anyone was wondering, I'm coming up on my last transfer of my mission! only 6 more weeks left! what! thats crazy!
Have a SPECTACULAR week!
