I made it!

Wow I am dead tired. I really just need a big Mac and a nap. I got sick off of the waffles lol. besides that the food is pretty good. I keep trying new things. today is a half prep day, so my P-days are on Thursday.
The airport was terrible. As I was boarding the plan in Salt Lake, I can see my bag in the middle of the tar mat by itself and my other bag on the baggage cart driving in the opposite direction. I was like great just my luck. the flight from SLC to LA was delayed because it was over by 1000 lbs we literally had to defuel and take off luggage. that's what we get for flying with literally 40 missionaries, we counted. it was sooo funny. then the flight from LA to Mexico was delayed because of something and then we circled over the Mexico airport for an hour because of how bad the rain was. I was on the plan for 6 hours eating the Texas Roadhouse rolls in stuffed in my carry on and biscoff cookies they gave us. they gave us pizza when we finally got to the Mexico mtc and I almost started crying and man it was so good.
My companion is Hermana Johnson. she is the best. funny story so Hermana Johnson and I were getting ready in the morning and I'm like hermana don't move and she’s likes what and I’m like there is a massive spider on your arm and she’s like screaming and the spider goes flying and both of us are screaming and we couldn't find the spider but we found it and we were both screaming and it was hilarious. This spider was huge. I have never seen a spider so big. The ones in Utah are muy pequeno. I hope that means small. I’m so bad at Spanish.
At the airport this guy came up to us missionaries and started explaining how everything is fascism and how the government is really Hitler and he is trying to control everything and how the Nike swoosh is evil Valkyries and he started flapping his arms and I'm like sitting there dumbfounded at what he was saying. also he said that under armour is the horns of the devil and i was crying from laughing so hard once he left. he also said the four pillars of the government are evil and stand for satanism and im like i thought there was only three pillars of the government and man I was just confused. this guy was like with his family so I didn't think he was high but i don't know
My district is so much fun. at first the elders were terrified of us hermanas but we made them talk to us and now they talk to us all the time so it's really fun to talk to them and to get to know them.
It is so hard to type on this computer. everything is in Spanish and I can't read Spanish. The keyboard is worse. Everything is rearranged and I can't figure out how to actually type things.
Man it took me so long to type this email lol.
The Spanish here is so hard! I am terrible at Spanish. I can say I need to use the bathroom and that's about it. they have us memorize like 300 words a day but they give us literally no time to learn things.
I’m living life! I haven't gotten sick yet but man I’m dancing with death. Note to self don't eat the eggs or burritos. it gives you bad things.

April 5, 2021 Hello! This week has felt like 3 weeks. It's been a long one. Not much happened so it's been pretty boring but here are a few of our adventures. We helped make an Easter Video for our facebook page. We helped out at our ward Primary Easter Egg hunt. One kid went hunting before it even started and took all of the eggs! So hna Ralphs and I successfully took his basket and hid all the eggs again 30 seconds before the hunt started. We were able to talk with a ton of ward members at the Easter egg hunt and meet so many members who had gone off the grid when covid started. It was a fun time! We watched conference! We were able to go to a members' home to watch it. While there, their huge cat came and sat on my notebook and on me and wouldnt move. Their cat was sooo sassy and kept walking all over our notes. Other than that, we had a really boring week. Nothing exciting happened. I hope everyone had a great time watching conference! If you havent seen it...

April 12, 2021 Well.... I'm going to have to be rolled off the plane in three weeks from all the food that we were given. Here is a list of everything that we were given this week 1. Chick-fil-a meals 2. Cinnamon Rolls 3. Baked spaghetti (enough to feed 15 people) 4. 15 Rolls 5. Caramel Cookies 10x 6. Hamburgers 7. Brownies (I say brownies but it was a brownie cake thing) it was cookie dough with oreos on top, with brownie batter on top of that, topped with chocolate chips, topped with icecream. 8. A Watermelon 9. An unholy amount of grapes 10. A huge amount of grilled chicken 11. 10 huge oranges 12. A huge pan of Grilled Broccoli 13. Mashed potatoes 14. A ton of pork 15. even more gravy 16. French fries 17. A giant Easter Egg filled with candy 18. And a cookie whipped cream salad. (I dont know why it's called a salad because one bite from that thing will kill you.) March 2, 2020 When you think you’ve hit rock bottom, you can only go up right... wrong. I can’t remember my favorite lines from the Grinch. I’m devastated. It was terrible. I was quoting the Grinch because the moment was right and I couldn’t remember the quote and now I eat brownies to drown my sorrows. IM NOT ACTUALLY SAD IM OK. This week was really good! Here is the update with our investigators. Augastina her baptism fell through because her mom has to keep working on her baptism it's very hard to get in contact with her mom. Augastina is a 9 year old girl who is very good! Alfred BAPTISM DATE! We taught Alfred about baptism after church this Sunday and he wants to get baptized! He is very excited. April 11th. We know it is very far out but there is a language barrier. He can only speak creole, French and a little Spanish so it takes a bit to explain everything and we want to make sure he understands everything.
